Genesis 32:22-30

Jacob wrestles with “God”

Jacob is at his lowest in life. “God”, makes his presence by grabbing onto Jacob who's resting on a rock. “God”, picks him up and throws him down to the ground. Jacob realizes this is no ordinary man, but “God” himself. As the fight continues Jacob can not overpower “God” anymore... he can not win... so Jacob learns how to lose. Jacob decides to hold completely on to “God”.

Then “God” says... let me go I can not be caught in these parts before the day breaks. Jacob says... I won't let you go until you bless me. Jacob learns about “God” who he has been wrestling with. “God” is much more powerful, stronger and mightier, but offers something to give.

We can learn how to win with “God” by also losing to “God” himself. We come uprising by going low and sometimes “God” will wait until we are at a very lowest point. So “God” can begin a change in our character to demonstrate a redemption in our lives.

I have come to know the Lord because I want a reason to WIN with the “Spirit of God” and by doing so I am surrendering my life over to “God Almighty”. Today, I am coming to find “God”, because I am at the lowest in my life. In resemblance to the Baptismal Tank, someone is placed underwater. At this moment in your life, your completing the next step after you asked “God” into your heart and forgive you for sin.

Now, I am ready to be raised up through the living water of “Jesus Christ’s” burial. Experiencing a new life with “God” his “Power” and “Blessings” that the “Lord God Himself” will in store for me forever and ever.

The most important step before being Baptized firstly is to know about Salvation. From Jesus death on the cross he resurrected out of the cave. This is a true parallelism of becoming Baptized. Without the first eternal step of salvation it will not be possible to go into heaven, to be with God Almighty the Heavenly Father and/or fulfill Baptism.

Baptism comes after the true experience with Jesus. Jesus loves everyone so much he is willing to forgive ❤️. Jesus died for our punishment which is death. Just before Jesus descended into Heaven he tells his disciples that he would soon come again to raise the dead from their graves. We are waiting until this day happens.

"Amen" 🙏

  • About the Author: Right after my salvation, the Minister asked if I like to be Baptized. I wanted so much to keep the faith I did so. We left to the Baptismal tank and there I put on a gown. The Minister prepared me for the next step in my journey with Jesus. He held my forehead and explained that Jesus resurrected from his death just as I am placed under the water I am resurrecting with him. "Amen"
